Kapnative is pleased to welcome Holger Kerzel, former Managing Director, Global Head of Illiquid Assets at MEAG, as the newest member of its Investment Committee. With his extensive experience in equities and illiquid assets, Holger Kerzel will strengthen Kapnative’s ability to identify and evaluate high-quality private market funds while further enhancing the company’s rigorous due diligence processes.

Kapnative GmbH is delighted to announce that, as of November 1, 2024, Holger Kerzel has been appointed as a new member of its Investment Committee. With this addition, Kapnative gains a highly experienced expert in alternative investments with deep knowledge and extensive experience in international capital markets.

Mr. Kerzel’s impressive career includes serving as Managing Director at MEAG, where he managed one of Europe’s largest internationally oriented infrastructure portfolios until 2023. This portfolio encompassed financing, direct investments in infrastructure companies and projects, as well as forestry, agricultural investments, and private equity funds. At the end of 2022, he also assumed leadership of the Portfolio Management Liquid Assets division of the KAG. He began his professional journey in equity management, leading MEAG’s equities division from 2000 for 19 years.
